Working with Charmaine and going through my career report was awesome. It really made sense to me because I’m better at hands-on jobs where I can be active, outdoors, and work with animals or machines. Careers like farming, landscaping, and animal work are exactly what I enjoy.
I also liked seeing that I don’t have to sit in an office — I can learn on the job, do apprenticeships, or train while I work. I wasn’t sure what to do before, but now I’ve got some options I can actually try, and I don’t have to pay for extra studies.

I was grateful for the opportunity to work with Charmaine. She helped me confirm my university decisions and gave me confidence I was focused on the right pathway and also showed me alternative areas of interest. I would highly recommend working with Charmaine on career guidance.

Reading my career report gave me real clarity. I’ve always known I’m creative, but seeing how that translates into actual career options was enlightening. The report highlighted that my strengths lie in Artistic, Enterprising, and Social areas, which explains my natural draw to design and working with people. Careers like Graphic Designer, Artist, and Photographer kept coming up — they really feel like ‘me.’
It was also reassuring to see that careers like doctor or engineer, while possible, might not suit me long-term. That takes a lot of pressure off. What I’m taking away is that I want to focus on creative work where I can also connect with others — like design or media — while keeping balance in mind, because I can get stressed. Overall, I feel confident that a creative career is a real option, not just a hobby.
I also appreciated seeing achievable pathways as someone who’s completed Year 12 — I don’t have to do Year 13 to move forward, and there are plenty of study and bridging options if I want to pursue further education. It’s motivating to know I can plan a path that works for me and my goals.

Inner Scope’s Career & Wellbeing Guidance report has been really helpful for my career development. The process was straight-forward and thorough, producing detailed and accurate results. Perfect for a twenty-something like myself navigating their career path. What was most appreciated is that all aspects of my personal health and well-being (hauora) were taken into account, not just my skills and interests, so I can trust that the result provided are fully aligned with my current values. Overall, an awesome service that I will be sure to recommend to others.
